Most Seven drivers with the exhaust and the steering wheel on the left side suffer from lots of heat. Not only near the feet but the whole driver's compartment is very hot. Some air comes from the exhaust manifold under the hood and some comes from the side pipe. My idea with the rebuild was to add a vent just behind the manifold. A panel will guide the hot air through some grill mash to the outside. That's why I had to bent the panel inwards.
The trial fit shows where everything is intended to go. From front to back, the damaged part which will be replaced by a new panel including the exhaust outlet, then comes the vent and the rest of the old panel. With some imagination you can see how it should look in the end ;-)
